We all know the color of the leading cancer among women…pink. But what color represents men’s cancer?
The blue ribbon is increasingly becoming known for the fight against prostate cancer. But because many men are reluctant to visit doctors and discuss health issues publicly, prostate cancer hasn’t received the attention it needs to encourage early detection.
Yet, the American Cancer Society is projecting more cases of prostate cancer in 2014 than breast cancer. When caught early, this disease is highly curable.
For an eighth consecutive year, The Urology Group is hosting the ZERO Prostate Cancer 10K/5K Run-Walk to encourage early detection.
In 2014, our goal is 1,500 runners and walkers!
